The application fails to remember the last-used window dimensions and state (Maximized/Windowed) upon restart. Every time the program is launched, it resets to a [Default/Minimum] size rather than restoring the previous session’s geometry.
Can you tell us if you have more than one monitor? I don’t experience this issue, and it’s not something that was flagged by a lot of users. Generally, users had a “cleaning app” that would delete these preferences, they would have an older computer not compatible with the app, or outdated graphics drivers. Having an external monitor that is not configured to open the app was also noted as creating this issue.
Topaz Gigapixel window preferences are saved correctly on my side.
I have one monitor and I have all your apps. My system is up to date with all the latest windows 11 updates. I subscribe to the Adobe photo apps. No other app or software exhibits this behavior. I’m glad it works for you. You could let me know what other information you need from me or send me to someone who can troubleshoot my issue. I await your next post

Which version are you using

The latest…all versions of the studio release have this behavior on my system
“I will remember and recover, not forgive and forget. - Unknown”
I’m running a Windows Machine and everything is working as expected
With that in mind a couple of things firstly, are running any Windows PowerToys, FancyZones for instance and secondly, is your Monitor 4K and do you have it set to a Custom Scaling for example 150% if so then, try resetting it back 100%
One last thing have you tried running Topaz as Administrator simply Right Click on the Icon and select Run as Administrator
Please test what AND-E proposed. One more thing you could do is to delete the registry.
- instructions here.
Let me know if it works after.
Removed gigapixel studio and double checked that there was no topaz gigapixel info in the registry. Downloaded the lastedt version from your site and reinstalled. Same behavior.
Can you share your system profile?
