Will AI Denoise and Sharpen help with my Halftone Problem?

Thanks, Andy, that really is appreciated.

I took another stab at this using a FFT filter and Gaussian Blur in Photoshop first, and then running it through PhotoAI 4.0. I tried the new dust and scratch removal tool and it made the artifacts worse, so I went back to just Face Recovery V2 creative, and Normal Denoise.

I used Affinity Photo 2 and a Gaussian Filter, Topaz Photo AI 4.0.0. , Gigapixel 8.3.1, to get this result. If they’re any good. It took me about 5 1/2 hours.

With your permission I would like to post them to the Show Off Spot. Not that I’m a show off of course. :innocent:

Regards.

I’m a bit late for your request but here goes.

Take the original picture.

Repair the faces and other damage with Affinity Photo 2.

Then apply Gaussian filter with Affinity Photo 2

Then use Gigapixel Redefine on low settings.

Simple, pimple!

Just for fun :face_savoring_food:
Use Photoshop to remove the print pattern, colorize the image with Flux Kontext, and upscale it using OMGSR. :tada:

Interesting.

Can the strength of what’s done to the heads be controlled at all?

At least to me, they have a cut out and collaged on look. They don’t seem to match perfectly with the bodies re: sharpness, clarity, contrast or something. The heads have a dimensionality the accompanying bodies don’t.
