It stopped working as a standalone or as a plugin after a recent windows 11 update. I checked the models folder and there is data there.

Uninstall the Windows update until the conflict is corrected

Is your Graphics card on the latest Studio driver? If you have multiple screens, does changing the main on make a difference?

The fact that Topaz’s advice to get an installation working correctly is “Turn off every scrap of protection you have from viruses and external attacks” is mindbogglingly amateur, and completely unconscionable in this day and age. No other software I’ve installed in the last 15 years has required this, and plenty of them are more complex installs than anything by Topaz. Unbelievable. Hire a real software developer and get it together, you should be embarrassed and ashamed that you even think of asking that of users.

Can you direct us to where in this case we asked to turn off any security features? A white screen can be caused by outdated drivers, registry issues where registry deletion can reset everything or a underpowered graphic card for which we can provide workarounds.

Turning off security features will not help in this case, and is not something we asked the original poster to do!

Did anyone find resolution to the “white screen” issue? I’m getting a white screen on start up. Not useable.

I encountered the same problem. After the first successful launch, subsequent attempts end with a white screen and the message “Application not Responding.” I discovered that the issue occurs when I use the program on a second monitor. If I close the application, the next launch fails. Only after turning off the second monitor does the program open correctly on the primary monitor.

This issue with the white screen, or Photo AI not responding is usually resolved by making sure that the graphics card drivers are up to date. If this is not resolving the issue, you need to delete the registry for Photo AI. There is a known issue where if the app is closed on the secondary screen, it won’t reopen after.

Instructions to delete the Photo AI registry:

After this is done, Photo AI should open and it will keep working as long as you don’t close it on the second screen.
