When upscaling a low res image to 2x, I adjusted the image from 100% to approximately 11% to view the full image. When I did this, the program shut down my computer. This occurred twice. When I upscaled and left the view at 100%, no issues.
Hi @jerry.zerbst ,
Have you checked to see if your machine meets Gigapixel v7 minimum system requirements?
Generating an upscaled and enhanced preview using locally run AI models is inherently resource intensive. While it is expected for preview processing to take some time when zooming out, it sounds like your machine is running out of adequate processing resources.
If you’re unsure if your machine specs are compatible with the version of Gigapixel you have installed, please feel free to reach us at help@topazlabs.com and include your system profile.
