When an image with a red object or red background is upscaled, its border is always jagged

When an image with a red object is enlarged, its border is always jagged. Also, the preview and the magnified result are different.

(This difference between preview and upscaled result also occurs in cloud rendering on the gigapixel AI.This issue should be resolved ASAP because cloud rendering requires credits and we lose credits even if the result of the rendering differs from the preview.

For example, we would like a system that allows users to preview the rendering results and pay a credit if they are satisfied with the results and download the file.)

This problem has been occurring for over a year now and I have pointed it out once before, but it has not been remedied.

Can’t you improve this ?

The last two pictures are examples I posted earlier.

At what zoom level were these captured? Because it looks like you’re seeing the individual pixels. Also, what were the export and compression settings? You might be running into chroma-subsampling issues.

Jpeg Quality 100%

above is at 100% scale
Under is around 200 % scale

The red text “B” is at 100% scale.
The preview has no jagged edges, but the rendered result has jagged edges.

I tried to reproduce with the image below:

red-green

But it came out pretty clean:

I could test one of your images that shows the problem, if you also specify the settings used for the upscale.
