Weird - why sometimes models don't give effect for the same video? (i think it's important subject)

hi - again sorry for my English

I have noticed for many times that when I upscaled videos From the beginning (original ones) It does a noticeable effect.
1- here only one step

but when I tried upscale same video after using some open source like “waifu2x” topaz models, it does not give any effect why

here two steps
1- using some models from open source
2- than using topaz models

Note that the “waifu2x model” did not change anything in the video quality and even if I returned the resolution to its normal size also topaz doesn’t give effect

What I wrote above is an example, but from my experience I noticed that (as far as I remember, but I am not sure) the quality of some videos is supposed to allow topaz models to give effect and I’m sure that topaz should give effect but it’s doesn’t - really weird but i think there is some method or tricks make videos effectable

Are you able to share a clip for testing? The AI model should still be enhancing the video clip even if it was already run through another process.

Also if you can share the logs for a process where it did not enhance the video I can have the team take a look at what happened.

i didn’t mean specific clip but i will see if i test one clip in future

i think if you check some clips after using “waifu2x” you will notice that

not only for topaz even “real-esrgan” model doesn’t give effect on anime videos if i used “waifu2x” before

and again “waifu2x” doesn’t change video quality for many cases

here i used “4xLSDIRDAT” model from opensource then make it in origanl size then i used iris2 but like i said sometimes if we use some opensource model the topaz models doesn’t give effect
