VR 180 Video Landscape AI Upscaling

Hey,
I am completly new. I have a rig for two go pros to record 180 degree stereo videos. I only receive 4k per camera and when I watch the video on the Apple Vision Pro, the video quality is not that great. By using AI Video 6, I am not able to receive great results. Mostly, I film landscapes or cities, where objects can be more far away. Is there somebody with some experience? And what settings are you using? I do not have any experience, I started yesterday with the free version.

Would recommend looking at running the Gaia model for upscaling since you are already filming at 4k resolution. However, depending on the version of the GoPro the lens on them and the recording of the fixed settings (focus, exposure, etc) is possibly the culprit for the lack of detail in the distance. Upscaling can help in some ways but if there is not enough pixel detail in the distance than the models are not sure what to enhance and this can lead to making the video look off.

Testing out different models and trying out the “manual parameters” for them might help you with reducing the compression artifacts, some sharpening and mostly denoising of the video since a GoPro is not known to have a large sensor for capture.
