Video fails to export if the destination resolution is equal or smaller than the original video

  1. If I try to export a video and the end result is a video with resolution equal or smaller than the original video the export fails (for example, original video video is 1920x1080, but the resulting video is also 1920x1080 or 1280x720).

The zipped files do not contain any log entries. Can you confirm that the app is set to create new logs and then try to export a video again.

This is weird; yes, I do have logging enabled. In any case, I tried to export the video again and I created a new log file attached here.

I also extract the new .zip file that I created and I confirmed there files there (screenshot attached). Please let me know if it works this time.

Very odd, let’s try clearing the Plists for Video AI and restarting the system to see if that helps clear this issue.

How To Delete Your Plist Files

Keep me updated if that does not resolve the issue and Ill check with the devs on another option.

I deleted the Plist files, but unfortunately nothing changed. I’m attaching the logs again here in case something changed after the Plists were removed.

Also, I previously said that this problem was happening if the destination video had a smaller resolution than the original video, but it doesn’t seem to be an important factor here. Now I noticed that most of my videos fail to be exported.

Let’s do a full uninstall and reinstall of the app to reset everything. The plists changed the error code you were getting but not it is showing a failed assertion for the manifest plist file.

A reinstall should clear everything and get the app back to working order. Keep me updated.
