It’s more likely your CPU has an advantage in some aspects. Intel chips have better memory controllers than AMD.

That system has a 7950X which with AVX512 I would expect it to be faster, but you might be right. Found it interesting.

2X and especially 4X tests require lots of CPU- and RAM performance for upscaling the image before the GPU comes into play. This is why a PC with a slower GPU can be faster overall in those tests, if it has faster CPU/RAM.

I found the weirdest thing, my instance of VAI recognized my single 3070ti as a dual card. My first benchmark run was exactly 50% lower than user attilaporteleki above with the 3070. Normal renders were throwing out “unknown errors” too. When I selected 1 single card in the Preferences tab, the results are 10% higher than attilaporteleki, which is expected. Tried rebooting and reinstalling, same deal. I don’t want to mess around with reinstalling drivers, so I’ll leave it at that.

Dear dev teams, when I saw another update, I thought “why do these guys keep updating every week, so annoying”. But when I saw the performance bump, I felt so guilty. Thank you, you’re doing god’s work!

Has anyone obtained and benchmarked an RTX 4070 yet?

There are some interesting benchmarks on Toms Hardware showing it matching the 3080 on Stable Diffusion images per second, and matching the 3080 Ti on Blender geomean (within 1%). If replicated on TVAI, that implies a 56% to 70% uplift compared to my 3060 ti and +40% to +56% vs. a 3070, at $100/ÂŁ less than a 3080/10GB and more VRAM

I just ran a set of benchmarks on my 3 TVAI machines. For the next couple of months I’m processing 640 to 1280 with Proteus Auto. What makes this interesting is the CPU’s and the 2 different GPU’s. If someone is looking at 3060’s and 3060 Ti’s this might help. I had a RX 6600 but it was just too slow to use effectively.
