Video AI not working at all

I’m not quite sure how to put this, but since updating to 4.1.0 Video AI has stopped working entirely. It still runs and everything, but no matter what settings I use or video I try it on, it doesn’t do anything. Both previews and exported videos look exactly the same as the original. The only reference I’ve been able to find to this problem said to uninstall, clear the registry, reinstall. I’m using Macos and don’t have a registry to clean but I did try a fresh install and that didn’t change anything.

Double check the file directories for where you are saving the file. Also it looks like your GPU is under the minimum requirement for the app, might want to upgrade that soon.

I very much doubt anyone looking for help here is looking for condescending advice to just buy a new computer, but thank you for the helpful suggestion.

Nothing condescending about being told your 10 year old hardware isn’t up to the job of being able to run modern AI software.

Oh my mistake, I hadn’t realized I wasn’t using modern hardware until you both very helpfully pointed it out instead of addressing my question. I had thought I was able to run Video AI just fine, albeit slowly, until this latest update, but I see now that I was wrong. I also hadn’t realized one wasn’t allowed to purchase this software or ask questions about it without first making sure they have a cutting edge video card. My apologizes, I’ll uninstall all Topaz products immediately.

Stop acting like a spoilt scolded little child and you might find someone to help you.
But with that attitude I’m done.

I was not trying to be condescending, I first stated to double check your file directories as your logs show an input/output error and that there was no file or directory for the output to go to. This can happen when trying to write to a drive that is not writable or that the app has not been given permission to write to.

Then I looked at the rest of the logs and noticed that your GPU was on the older side and under the minimum specs. Working with a GPU of this nature with the app can cause other issues and wanted to give you the heads up before you ran into those. The minimum specs are listed as the AI processes are very heavy on systems and running the app on a below spec computer can cause a user to run into a lot more issues and not have a good experience with the app.

If you have further questions on the errors you are seeing I would suggest sending a support ticket in to the team directly. Have a great day!
