Version 1.2.6 for the Mac exits when I try to save a file

I recently updated Topaz Photo AI to version 1.2.6.
I had multiple photos open and when I went to save them, the application exited and I lost all my edits. This has happened 3 times now. It is very frustrating since I spent a lot of time on each photo. There is no way to recover what I had already done.
The first time I had about 10 photos that I wanted to save. The next time only 2 or 3.
I am hesitant to try again since it is so time consuming.

If you have the latest Mac OS update make sure that that Photo AI has full access to the disk as there was a security update. It is set in the app settings in settings.

Thanks, Topaz does have access to the files on disk. I have been able to save files, but on a few occasions it has exited with no warning or message.
