I executed a batch process conversion of multiple video files and was unaware at the time of setting up the batch processing that at least one of the files in the batch did not contain an audio track. When returning to the PC after the batch processing had completed, none of the converted video files contained an audio track - even for those files in the batch that originally had an audio track!
Did a little experiment on my own - submitted 3 video files for batch processing; 2 files had audio tracks, 1 file did not. When selecting the conversion parameters with all 3 files selected, TVAI set the Audio Mode to None for all 3 video files. It may also be interesting to note that the file lacking an audio track was placed in between the files that contained audio tracks.
Why is TVAI unable to detect and select the appropriate Audio Mode for each video in a batch processing situation where there is a mix of files in the batch that have/lack audio tracks?
Hi Phil! I ran a test using 2 video files with audio and 1 without using proteus and exporting as h264 with audio mode set to convert and the audio tracks were present on the 2 files that originally had audio and the one without did not.
Would you be recreate the test you ran and then immediately after they are done processing, share the app’s logs and the 3 files for testing so we can look into this?

For reference, I was using Rhea and exporting as ProRes 422 HQ with audio mode set to copy with output to mov container. I don’t know if that makes a difference with respect to this issue.
I can recreate the test if necessary, but in the test I described, the audio mode was set to none for all three videos before I started the job by clicking Export. So I assumed that it wasn’t an issue with the model or output format I chose.
