Hi again
I use amcOS 15,1 and I confirm that my Topaz Photo AI 3.3.0 don´t work at all, it chrashes under the analyze prosess when open av images, both in photoshop and Photo ai
I upgraded to Photo AI 3 V 3.3.0 and it no longer works. The new Super focus tool takes up to 60 minutes to process an image and after all the analysis the photo hasn’t changed and the system crashes.
If i just use the auto pilot tool or any of the other tools it improves the image as normal but then crashes when i try to save the updated file, and give a dialogue box saying ‘image cannot be saved’.
So Topaz has moved from being an essential part of my work flow to being completely unusable. For info I use a MAC M1 processor.
I’d like to get some more information to help troubleshoot the problem you are having. First, could you send us your computer’s full system profile?
How To Obtain Your System Profile (Mac)
We will also need the following information:
Log Files
To gather logs, open Photo AI go to the menu bar on top, and then go to Help > Open Log Folder.
Crashpad File
Follow the directions below to send in this file:
Open Finder on your Mac
From the Menu Bar, click Go > Go to Folder
In the search bar, type the following pay and hit Enter:
Locate the crashpad folder and then right click and select Compress “crashpad”
This will create a crashpad.zip file, which you should be able to attach to this email and send to us for review.
If you would prefer you can securely submit your files(s) to my Dropbox using the link below. Make sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.
Once we have this information, we will be able to share it with the development team to help get a better understanding as to why this may be occurring for you.
Hi John,
Thank you for getting back to me, this morning i replied with all the files you requested, however i received an auto reply from Topaz saying that emails cant be sent with more than 2 attachments. I have therefore attached the system profile you requested and one of the log folder files as thats all Topaz will allow me to send, along with an image below of the error message i get, I hope that helps.
After I messaged Topaz support yesterday I tried Topaz again and managed to process 4 images using Auto Pilot before it stopped working again. The failures seem quite variable, sometimes Topaz does its analysis but doesn’t display an updated image, and sometimes it updates the image but then when i try to save the file a dialogue box comes up saying ‘Unable to save, please try again later’. Prior to updating to V3.3.0 I have never had a problem.
Regards
Mike

Topaz Photo Ai crashes immediately whenever loading a new image.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Topaz Photo AI [v3.2.2] on MacBook Pro with Mac OS 15.0 Sequoia
I too am running Mac OS 15 on an M2 studio. Ive not had a problem with Topaz. Tracking down issues that lead to apps crashing is not easy. Could some other app you have installed be the culprit, how much RAM do you have?
I have 64GB.
How old is your MBP? Intel or M-series?

Also if you can, please try to recreate this crash in Topaz Photo AI, then go to Help > Open Log Folder, please send me all of the files within that folder. You should be able to attach them directly as a response to this thread.

I’m having the same issue… When I try to load an image into Topaz, the software immediately shuts down. Mac OS 15.0, 2023 Mac Studio running an M2 Max with 32GB RAM.
You’ll need to send the logs etc to John.
