# Using MS Office to remove backgrounds easily ... :-)

Did you know that MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook can easily remove a background in an image? It is quite powerful and something that masking apps should aspire to do …

That is amazing, I had no idea. I just tested it out in Word 2010 and it did a great job, very easy. You can even save as a png. Thank you for posting this Don

Works in Office 365.  
It may work better with objects that have clearly defined edges. Hair for instance is not easy to select.
