Just playing with DVDFab now and I think they use Real-Esrgan.
Currently is taking 2 hours to process a 30 second clip (1920 x 1080 No Upscale) at 0.14 FPS compared to Topaz Iris at 8.5 FPS 
I’ll let it finish to see what the result looks like just for giggles.
Edit:
After testing the software the OP suggested I have no clue why anyone would want to use it in unison, it’s results are total garbage and is 99% slower.
Oh and it’s riddled with advertising spam.
