Does higher unified memory vram help with upscaling speed on the m series, (M1 max)?
Hi, it appears that higher (unified / gpu) memory only helps for parallel processing from what I have found - I’ve just been experimenting with v3.1. I have a base spec. Mac Studio and for processing 1 video at a time it’s 25% faster by reducing the amount of allocated memory to 33% or less AND also choosing either option other than Auto (makes no difference between CPU or M1 Max).
