Upscaled cropped images with monochrome profile applied appear as unsupported or damaged in Lightroom classic and cannot be shown and further worked on in Lightroom.
Steps to reproduce issue:
- Crop a raw file (.ARW) in Lightroom classic 13.0
- Choose the monochrome profile in Lightroom classic 13
- Upscale it with Topaz Photo AI 2.05 (see screenshot 1)
- The returned Tiff file appears unsupported or damaged to Lightroom Classic 13 (see screenshot 2)
Apparently Topaz Photo AI returns the TIFF file with Color space Gray instead of RGB (see screenshot 3)
