Upgraded to Gigapixel 7 on a brand new PC with a fresh install. No matter what image I load, the upscaling process hangs. Software doesn’t freeze, but no upscaling progress takes place.
I have an i9 14900k and a 4090 RTX, so specs aren’t the issue. I am resizing a 2048 x 2048 image and can’t even resize it 2x.
Has anyone else had any issues with the recent updates? My models are up to date, so I am not sure what the issue is.

Would you make ensuring that you on currently on the latest driver for your NVIDIA 4090 RTX?
Justin, I have the exact same issue. Upscaling takes forever now. The version before 7 worked beautifully. Is there a way to go back to the older version?
It randomly started working a few days later. Thank you for the response. NVIDIA drivers have been kept up to date. Only thing I did was reboot my PC a few times and be patient. Not sure what the issue was.

Justin, I’m very sorry for the delay. Attached is the system profile you requested. Just a reminder, the application worked great UNTIL I downloaded the last version. Now it hangs when I’m trying to uploaded the image after the upscaling.

I am having massive trouble upscaling as well. It is taking forever, it hangs. Can someone help?
After reviewing your system, I see that you have a total of 8gb of system RAM which is below our system requirements for Gigapixel 7 as well as your GPU not having the minimum 4gb of dedicated VRAM.
I’d advise reverting back to version 6.3.3 of Gigapixel with the instructions found on our documentation page.

Thanks, Justin. I reloaded the old version. Maybe Topaz shouldn’t be so pushy about those upgrades. After ignoring the pop-up window for months I got so tired of seeing it (and not being able to get rid of it) that I did the upgrade.
