Update license policy

“Included with your purchase of the product is 12 full months of our newest AI models and latest version”

So, should I find cause to cancel my subscription, I still get access to updated models for 1 more year, yes? Even if I decide to, say, stay on v5.3.6?

No - it’s one year from purchase/last renewal. If your licence were to expire now (current version v5.5.1) you’d be entitled to use any version, and the relevant models, up to and including v5.5.xxxx. However, upon release of v5.6.0 (or 6.0.0 if that comes first) you’d need to buy a new upgrade licence.

Yes, thanks. But what I asked is whether, when I renew my license one more time (now), will my downgraded version v5.3.6 (only stable one) still be able to get the new updates for, say, Proteus v4? Or will I only get the updated models when I also update the version?

See, this behooves some disambiguation:

It’s not clear whether updated models are tied to the latest update per se.

What you asked is quoted above.

Models are tied to specific versions of the program. If you don’t update the program you don’t get updated models.

And what about that script to download models manually?

Anyway, thx for the clarificaton.
