Update Fails due to Failed Writing to Drive

For the last few months, every time I try running updates on Photo AI, I get an error message that says it cannot write to the path and to check that I have rights to the path. I do have the rights, and the path is one created by Photo AI in the first place. I’ve confirmed that I can access the folder and I even deleted the old file that was in it, but Photo AI insists that it cannot write to that folder.

Steps to reproduce issue:

Thanks for reporting this. I believe we have this fixed in the latest updates. Please update to the latest version of Topaz Photo AI first by running the full installer:

Our next update to Topaz Photo AI comes on Thursday. Please try using the patch updater and let me know if that’s working.

I just saw your reply and just attempted your suggested resolution. The process worked and my system has updated successfully to Topaz Photo AI 1.3.8. I am relieved to find that the full installer correctly found the file path that I had specified for my initial install; I was concerned that it might default somewhere else.
