This issue is now 8 mo old. Cannot recommend to any Fuji owner, and will abandon to DxO or LR enhance. Your lack of response to this issue is unacceptable to all who had better hopes for this tool.
@Robkidney I appreciate your concern. The metadata from Fuji cameras is unusually unpredictable, especially for exposure settings. That said, we are still working on creating a solution for this. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Are you noticing patterns in the types of photos that have the worst color results? Any observations about this could help us in our development process.
Yes. I sent pics in January when we (many Fuji users thst I know) observed that when the raw image is brought through the raw processor algorithm, the result when back in LRC is a DARK image—-way darker then before it was brought in. If the pics are not available, I’ll dig up the email and send them again if I can.
The behavior has changed slightly with the new Topaz version. Before, the image was not dark while in Topaz, and becomes dark once it was saved back to LRC as a DNG. . NOW it is dark as soon as it hits Topaz and remains so on saving back to LRC.
I am using the non-raw algorithm when I use the program which seems to work. The files it creates as a tiff are enormous—-would rather a dng

The Edit In workflow processes a TIF instead of a RAW so it doesn’t have the same image data conflicts as processing a RAW file. If you can find those RAW files from Jan, that’d be great.
I looked though my emails and realized that it was April, not Jan, when the issue was communicated (to you I believe, since the name “Tim" showed up in the email thread!). The email which follows this one shows the thread. John Barclay, one of your professional photographers, has been involved in the discussion as well.
specs: I’m shooting with a full uptodate X-t5, which produces an RAF raw format.
I’ll send anew image or two when I get a chance.
We Fuji shooters want the same advantages from Topaz as is offered by DxO—denoising of raw images, with resultant DNG’s
Thanks.

This is the original email thread concerning this issue. Apparently the images went by Dropbox link to Lingyu Kong, who I presume is or was one of your colleagues. Please try to get those. I will send you an image or two in the next few days which once again shows the problem. (Suggestion—take any .raf file (the fuji raw format) and process using the raw algorithm and you will reproduce what is going on.)

here are screenshots of a raw fuji image, and the same image processed in PhotoAI. The color rendition is not usable
Hope this helps. Please let me know what is going on to fix it.
