Using latest version of PhotoAI on iPhone 11 (not Pro) images taken on recent vacation. Enhancements either don’t, or make no difference. Not what I recall from earlier versions but I don’t use the product that much. -Jesse
Could you provide a few examples of the images you’re working with? This will help us better understand the issue and ensure we’re addressing your concerns effectively. If you can also share any details on the settings or enhancements you’ve tried, that would be very helpful.
Thanks for your interest. Just got back from a trip to Japan and Taiwan. Took several photos with my iPhone 11 (basic not Pro). My flickr album for the trip has some ‘processed’ selected pictures. Well, never mind, your forum software complained about the link. I eventually gave up using Topaz Photo AI when the images typically came out worse.
I’ve uploaded a random image from the collection. Sorry, but denoise output looks like the 90s want their high-pass filter back. Upscaling didn’t help - it seemed to think the jagged edges and other jpg artifacts were real?

Thank you for the reply. While the image you uploaded is certainly better, the $64 question is what steps did you take? I purchased the original trio thinking that, well, artificiality would do the thinking when enhancing images. If I wanted to fuss twiddling controls I’d learn how to use the Affinity I purchased several years ago.
I can see twiddling controls if the default ‘enhancement’ settings bring improvements. In my case the defaults typically made things worse. But don’t take my word for it, I’ve uploaded a default upscale screenshot.
The original trio worked well enough to purchase when enhancing astronomical one-shot-color images taken with our group’s Baker-Schmidt camera. Since then it’s been under-whelming. Above I stated denoise looked like an old time high-pass filter, when maybe I meant sharpen, or maybe there wasn’t much difference between sharpen and denoise. I don’t recall…

I used the new Gigapixel AI Redefine model on this photo. Another attempt: I first made a downscale with Redefine to 1280 width and then an upscale by factor two again.
And a third one, this time with an upscale by factor four after the downscale:
Here the comparison. On the left the original image.
