Unable to download latest updates. Causes installation process to crashation

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1 Istallation of new updates crashes while downloading # 12 >tz file. message box states “internet connection error. Verify connectivity before retrying installation”
  2. Step 2 On Checking OK Topaz photo AI window states “rolling back installation”
  3. Step 3 Next box states “Topaz Photo AI set up wizard ended prematurely” and the App closes.
    Reinstalled Topaz Photo AI and now states that a seat has been used.

Please disable antivirus, firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer. These are known to block the installer from downloading the model files.

Then, rerun the installer. You can download a new installer from the downloads page directly. https://topazlabs.com/downloads/

I followed your advice and successfully reinstalled the latest version of Topaz Photo AI after disabling the anti virus and firewall software .
