Tutorial for creating a Natural Color Correction in Photoshop

I watched this Blake Rudis tutorial and found it pretty useful after trying it out on some of my images.
I hope some of you do too?

Just for those Affinity Photo users the clipping mask is created by dragging the adjustment layer onto the layer created with the Inverse/Average Blur like this:

Thanks for posting - I saw this a few days ago - tried it on a few images - a useful tool in the toolbox for SOME images - just have to learn when it is appropriate or when to go to another technique

Your welcome @el48tel… I’m glad to hear it was useful on some images. I’m thinking of making an action out the few steps it takes to be able to apply this technique to my images. This way it is will only take a few seconds to run and see if it applies to the image or not? Every extra tool/tip helps with our workflow when processing images.

Good idea but Blake does show variations on the theme.
