TS 2 update not working on my Max either
No longer accessible as a filter from PS
Only way I can exit ST2+ from my mac is by force quit. The Studio logo displays, but the program doesn’t work
Download the full installer from the Topaz Labs website and reinstall.

After reinstall from scratch, things seem to work fine on my MacBook Pro
