TPAI 3.0.3 fails to properly return DNG

I haven’t been able to properly edit RAW files in TPAI for some time now. This morning I completely nuked LRC and TPAI and reinstalled fresh and still have the problem.

1. Remove Topaz Photo AI and Lightroom Classic and all setting and configuration files. Reinstall new with LRC 13.3 and TPAI 3.0.3.
2. Select Sony a6700 RAW file in LR and select process in TPAI.
3. Do my edits, select save back to LRC.
4. I get an error “An Internal Error Occurred.” That said, the modified file is now present in LR.

Same here, error code 6, failed to process photo. Downgrading AGAIN.

Let’s try to reset your Lightroom plugin to try and get it working for you. You can follow the directions below to reset your Lightroom plugin:

1. Close Lightroom fully.
2. Run the Topaz Photo AI installer again. Get a new one from the downloads page: Topaz Labs Downloads
3. Open Lightroom and check the File > Plug-ins Extras again.

Let me know if those steps get it working again.

If it does not, open Topaz Photo AI, go to the menu bar on the top, and click the ‘Help > Open Log Folder’ menu option. Please send in all the files located in this folder.

I followed your instructions and after reinstalling TPAI 3.0.3 on top of the fresh install from this morning (you can see logs files from this morning and just now in the DropBox) I did NOT get “An Internal Error Occurred”; so that is good.

However, the resulting DNG, while less noisy, had poor resolution until I was prompted “Build standard-sized previews for all photos with embedded previews or only one?” I said yes, and once that was complete the file looked good.
