Topaz Video AI not making any enhancement

Using Topaz 7.0.2 on a Mac Studio M2. Applying basic settings to a poor quality Zoom video and 5s preview showing no change at all. Chat GPT replies that I should be seeing a dropdown in Preferences for the processor in which I can select my M2, but there is no such dropdown. Should there be? Even when enabling Parameters and cranking every one up to 100%, no change.

GPT also responded with: " In cloud mode, preview is often broken or bypassed entirely — explaining your unchanged results." It is trying to explain that Topaz is not using my Mac’s processor.

Is it making that up or is it true? Thoughts?

I see in the documentation that there is no dropdown for selecting processing. Regardless, I still am seeing no processing no matter which model I chose.

Try these settings.

If that doesn’t do much, change fix focus to strong, or slide Fix compression up more. There are several combinations to try.

It looks like you have not selected to render a preview or export the video out using these settings.

The Chat GPT response is pulling info from previous versions and this can cause confusion as it does not recognize the changes in version releases.
