Topaz Video AI not designed to run on windows. Error status 0xc0000428

Hi there. Just downloaded the latest version of Topaz Video AI 3.4.1 and coming up with the following error message.

“C:\Program Files\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Video AI\gna.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator for software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000428.”

Have uninstalled and re-installed from the download page and still coming up with this issue. The program runs but the output is not coming out as desired. Haven’t made any changes with either my hardware or software and was running fine until this update.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

can you run dxdiag and post the log file here.

It’s about 9000 characters long which is over the limit, but have attached the txt file here.
DxDiag.txt (97.5 KB)

I see two programs that are having errors PC-Doctor and Total-AV as reported by windows.
No reported errors from windows about gna.dll.
Also your system is quite an old i5-9500 with only 8GB of system memory and no external GPU only the UHD 630 in the processor.
You have a 25GB pagefile of which 10GB is being used which is a huge amount.

First thing I’d suggest is removing crapware like pc-doctor etc etc

EDIT:

I’d suggest using the freeware version of Revo uninstaller

Thank you! I’ll try those fixes and see if that works, or see about adding some memory or run on my newer PC.

If you manage to get it to run, be prepared for extremely slow performance as your system barely meets the hardware requirements, and this software is extremely demanding.
