I have been using this software for a week now and I just started getting hundreds to thousands of jpegs created after the video has completed encoding. I have not indicated any desire to produce jpeg images.
I currently in the process of upscaling my 480p movies to 1080p. Outside of the constant creation of jpeg images after the video completes I have no other issues.
As I am typing in this thread my computer is still loading the directory where the file was saved to. I’m sure there will be thousands of images in the folder when it completes loading. SMH!
I am using an M1 Max Laptop with over 1tb and 32 gig of ram.
Is there a bug or a setting I need to change in the settings?
Thanks in advance
That is very odd, can you send me a screenshot of the settings in the UI and your logs?
I would also go ahead and recommend a clean install. This method will clear all custom made presets.
- Uninstall Topaz Video AI by dragging and dropping the app into the trash bin
- Delete the plist files & empty the trash bin

Thanks for responding so quickly. I have already uninstalled the program and presently reinstalling it. I am attempting to re-encode a video to see if this happens again. I will let you know if it works.
Thanks again

I thought the issue was resolved, but it came back again. It created over 80,000 images after the video encoding was completed. This doesn’t seem to happen on all video encodes. I’m guessing it might have something to do with the video itself.
