Topaz Video AI: Can't export file

When I select export, it goes into the queue. It doesn’t export and in the queue is see the word ERROR. No other info.
I had attempted to use CONVERT as recommended below.

Previously, I couldn’t export due to an audio issue:
Audio stream #2 has an audio codec which can’t be used with the ‘.mov’ container. Select an alternate Container to copy audio, or change Audio Mode to ‘Convert’ (this may cause a loss in audio quality)

logsForSupport.zip (133.8 KB)

Looks like you are getting another error related to the format of the video file as it was shot with an iPhone 16.

Currently videos from these phones are not able to be processed in their raw form and need to be converted to a standard H264, H265 or ProRes file as there is some metadata that apple has the prevents the processing.

A workaround is to select the none audio mode and then process and remux the audio back in afterwards.

The team is working on getting this file format supported in future releases.

It appears that I just spent $125 for something I can’t use.

I have no idea what you mean, nor how to, remux the audio in afterwards.

So you have been a member here 6 years and never checked the forum or used the trial feature before purchasing ?

Wow, you’d think I’d get accolades for being a customer for so long…

I never had a problem with my previous IPhone with your software. So, didn’t think there would be an issue with the IPhone 16.

I looked, but didn’t see, the option for a trial for this sale. Did I miss it?

I have an old video and the same issue when wanting to export. " contains ‘adpcm_ima_qt’ audio which can’t be used with the ‘.mp4’ container". I am then instructed to output to something other than MP4 but no other choice is showing.

Re-encode as Kyle says.

Any suggestions on how I can do this?
Thank you

This old video did not come from a cellphone. It is from around 1999 in mov format.

For converting you can use for example free HandBrake or an other converter

The audio portion is the issue with going to an MP4 container, you can swap the audio mode in the codec settings in the top right corner of the app or change the container for the export.

Depending on what codec you have selected there are certain containers available to choose from.
