To be honest I don’t like this GUI. The one before had well seperated parts. This one is an overall gray swamp where parts of the GUI are not seperated at all.
When I let Video AI just re-encode the video without any enhancements, maybe to make the file size smaller, the progress info get stuck after a minute even though the processing continous as usual and finishes fine. This issue has been reported before.
Timeline zoom slider works, however the - and + buttons next to the slider have no action (macOS). Also would it be possible to control the timeline and the zoom with the scroll wheel? e.g. use some modifier keys to control zoom (please don’t use Ctrl on the Mac, it’s reserved for the entire screen zoom). Alt or Option + scroll wheel would work. Open to other suggestions of course. Thanks.
This morning i tried to resume my work from yesterday but it just happened nothing and wondered why it´s not finished after starting the next task.
The program just freezed in(“keine Rückmeldung”) like it always does when i start to resume and show no other reaction but this time after the TVAI defreezed the Video wasn´t finished and i could start the next.
So i am thinking what can i do to resume a video TVAI is refusing to do so ?
Maybe i should close TVAI and start it again…what would happen ?!
TVAI is trying to resume without starting the resume with clicking on the play button…that never happened before…
I am noticing that the stabilization also in the last release is suddenly shaking some times each time the text of the credits at the end of a video is changing.
I can see movements and rotations of the text when the credits are changing.
I don´t think that this is normal…i didn´t noticed that behavior in older versions…don´t know when this started.
Just test stabilization of the end credits of a movie.
I am using standard settings of Stabilization.
The white text on black background starts rapid moving in different directions(also rotation) after the next credit shows up. Just look frame by frame it´s clearly visible.
Stabilization is used in cases where it shouldn´t stabalize at all…that needs to be fixed.
I uploaded a short file in the dropbox of tony.topazlabs showing that case.
Every time again when I open a video file the application is revert back to its default values so that I manually have to switch to Iris especially to Medium and so on. Would be hepful if the application just set the last settings I used because those are often either the same or a good starting point.
To be honest the Preset list gets longer and longer with very unintuitive options to delete old presets so that I am faster setting up the enhancements than to search for the preset I need.
I have to say I have never used the existing presets… I don’t target resolution, I target quality enhancements. So I try to pick the best model for the type of video, and 2x or 4x, progressive or interlaced, recover details… can the default preset be removed?
I started the processing of 62 files, same protocol ! Good news is the SW is doing it. However it’s difficult to see where we are in a long list of exports… It does bounce up and down when you reach the top or bottom of the list, but there is no scroll bar, so no indication of where you are in the list.
Also I find the changing of the text, from the model, resolution, FPS to the actual name of the file and remaining time to process quite confusing. It’s OK, I get it, space is a premium… Hoping you will find a better implementation for that list.
Thanks!
Note: there is a vertical scroll bar in the sources list…
