Just updated to the latest 5.5 release and it’s completely broken, the only option it gives me to batch process a bunch of files is to use your cloud service! I don’t want to use your cloud service, EVER, if this is bug, fine, if this is your new operating model then I want my money back as I have zero interest in paying for your cloud service!
Not only is this true, but there’s a typo in the UI.
There must be many of us who couldn’t at first see the new button previously named “Quick Export”. It’s now hidden away in the bottom right hand corner, without any text. An obvious ploy by Topaz to advertise and tempt customers to their cloud service. Well it’s not worked with me, either. Just the opposite - and I expect many will feel the same way - really annoyed.

Thanks for pointing it out, I certainly missed it. i can now reinstall the update, having rolled back to an earlier version.
Yeah I finally noticed the local output option, at best the decision to move and remove the label is a terrible piece of UI design, especially as I expect it’s what 99% of the users actually want to do. At worst it’s a really sneaky “dark pattern” attempt to get people to use the cloud service and pay a lot more to Topaz.
The quick export button on the most right hand corner of the app support batch processing.
I had eventually discovered this. My next question is who decided to deemphasize it in the UI by removing the label and making it hard to figure out that this button is a third option rather than being attached to the second option? At best it’s a terrible piece of UI design that should be reversed ASAP.
