my gpu is 4060, cpu 12600kf. ram 24gb. ssd.
they works in
5.0.4 = 6.3f/s
5.3.3 = 0.8f/s
what the hel is it.
i want back 5.0.4

Propagating of settings with multiple sources selected for batch processing isnāt working fully correct yet.
If you change the Target bitrate setting with multiple sources selected, that setting jumps back to the default setting when you start the export.
Same happens if you use copy and paste settings to multiple selected sources, as soon as you start the export, the Target bitrate jumps back to the default setting.
Update:
Have now tried several other settings in the Codec settings Menu, like Profile and Codec etc.
None of these settings from this menu are propagated to every input video, but revert back to default when batch processing.
You can always download older versions of Video AI.
Soon will be released 5090. Is there models coming for this monster 5090? Because its really strong
Since one of the recent updates my C: drives is filled with this. All them are empty. What settings stops this?
We donāt even have specialized models for the 4090 2 years after its release, so I would say the chance of getting anything special for the 5090 is about 0%
That is if youāll be able to snag a 5090. I tried to buy 4090 Founders Edition multiple times and never could get to the NVIDIA store at the right time. They were always sold out. I havenāt been at all interested in buying one of those partner cards. Iāve been wanting a high-end card more for flight simulation than TVAI, especially since Iāve seen no real reason to upgrade from version 2. Iāll see how it goes when the 5090 is released.
Hello.
When we had TVAi , clearly, our 4090s, well, not just ours but ALL RTX cards for that matter, were just poorly utilized.
Even a 4080 Super (and non-Super) can match a 4090 here, which is extremely absurd.
Continuing adding brute force at TVAi is NOT the answer clearly, and until Topaz realize that and finally decides to optimize, EFFICIENTLY, its engine, ect., ALL cards will CONTINUE to perform softly.
A good start with little effort would be to compile ffmpeg against the latest CUDA Toolkit 12.6u1. Instead of letting the ffmpeg repo on Github get bogged down with outdated build scripts.
Even a 4080 Super (and non-Super) can match a 4090 here, which is extremely absurd.
Thatās true for tasks which include scaling. In the benchmark results we can see that the CPU + RAM is the bottleneck and canāt feed a 4090 fast enough whenever image scaling is involved. Auto-param detection also requires the CPU and can drag down the GPU.
In most 1 X tasks with fixed manual params, the 4090 seems to be about 20% faster than a 4080 Super.
That point is very interesting
Hi there. Itās a while ago, I just wanna say itās ok you mean 4x upscale with Rhea and not SD to 8k I was thinking. I do the same.
Unfortunately the Rhea mesh model is best optimized for 4x only, 1080p becomes 8k even if you want 4k. Iām sure itās possible to train the 4k comparably well as the 4x
It becomes absurd if you scale up for example SD 16:9 853x480 Resolution with 4x Rhea, it results in 3413 x 1920, which is not dividable by 8 itās no standard resolution anywhere. But 2560 x 1440 would be one.
In additional to 4x, in my opinion Topaz should give us also resolution optimized Rhea model for:
640 x 480 ā Rhea 1920 x 1440 (=WQHD 4:3)
853 x 480 ā Rhea 2560 x 1440 (=WQHD 16:9)
1440 x 1080 ā Rhea 2880 x 2160 (=4k 4:3)
1920 x 1080 ā Rhea 3840 x 2160 (=4k 16:9)
Although there is a Road Map Video Ai thread - it seems to be a dead one - so I am posting here.
Iāve just received the email āreserve your cheaper upgrade offer for Photo Aiā but nothing so far on Video Ai.
I tend to agree with some of the comments about the direction Topaz is going.
The Road Map is totally unclear and you are trying to promise too much and not delivering.
Iāve been waiting for the Premiere Plug in promised a year ago. Nothing has appeared.
Also agree with user comments that we never get any interaction /comments back from Topaz on issues like Road Map - probably as you are too wary of committing things
I think it is time to look at your priorities, get that Road Map defined and communicated to your customers.
Iām renewing one more year and giving you the benefit of the doubt, if you donāt deliver Iām sure there will be other places to go.
Pro Res 422 output from Video Ai 5.3.3 seems to be working fine with input to Adobe 24.6ā¦1 for me too.
Last Febās sale essentially was a year at half price, so Iām good until 10/25. Unless I see a radical improvement in quality or speed in the next 12 months, Iāll probably just pick whichever release runs with the best stability on my box, call it game over on renewals and put the money in my system upgrades piggybank instead. VAI has been in āmore or less good enoughā status for my needs and hasnāt gotten significantly better for a while now.
Was this on a Mac? The problem occurs for me on an Apple Silicon M2 Ultra. I tried it on an older Intel Mac with Premiere 24.6.1 and that does import from 5.3.3 OK.
There is always Video proc pro
In my opinion the actual multiplier is a good thing because there a discintion between format and resolution.
Resolution are universal.
Format are very often linked to group conventions, that may overlap or sometimes kills the smallest (HD-DVD vs BluRay)
1440 x 1080 ā Rhea 2880 x 2160 (=4k 4:3) ā This is not 4K, this is 2880x2160
1920 x 1080 ā Rhea 3840 x 2160 (=4k 16:9) ā This is not 4K, this is UHD
4K is 4096x2160p and is Theatrical and JVC + Sony videoprojector exclusive

I was wondering the same thing. I realized a few weeks ago when I had to delete over 45,000 of those. Since I caught this I have to clean C: every weeks because there are thousands of them. Any advice how to stop this behavior?
