Could I take a look at the app’s log files to see what is causing the error in Video AI?

To gather logs, please select Help > Logging and make sure that there is a check mark next to File Logging. Next, recreate the issue and then return to the Help menu and select > Get Logs for Support.

All GPUs boosted my processing speed by 30-50%. But splitting videos between multiple instances and using one GPU for each doubled processing speed with better stability.

Topaz actually welcomes all feedback, especially if it’s negative - free beta testing, bug reports, and gives them ideas on what needs improvement.

As per Eric the CEO - “feedback is a gift”.

Sorry for my English.

As soon as I want to renew my license, the Topaz team immediately introduces an innovation that turns me off:

This was with support for instructions on older computers.

Now this is a refusal of mod support for multi-graphics computers.

Guys, are you on purpose? Your subscription costs 150 per year, while competitors offer 50 for life. And at the same time, the product is at the beta testing stage from the first version.

All my friends do not renew their subscription after the second version.

Well, leave the support for old instructions and multigraphic computers in the basic version.
Just on Friday I got ready to renew my license, another innovation and here again is a reason to save money…

Maybe it’s time to give us a reason to renew our subscription? This is already some kind of cry from the soul…

It depends very much on the model. I use 99% Gaia and 1080p to 4K with a video. In this case both 3080Ti and my CPU are used to their maximum capacity. With other models that are more CPU-heavy, both GPUs are not fully utilized. Depending on the model, it also makes sense to start two program instances and assign one video to each GPU. You have to do some testing.

Hi,

One of the new improvements that you have added in version 5.2 is “Disabled automatic generation of TIFF sequences for Previews.”

But it doesn’t seem to work properly.

Specifically for EXR and DPX, we will continue to generate 16-bit TIFFs as the intermediate format.

What has been disabled is the generation of TIFFs for all previews, including video formats.

I can not find Rhea Enhancement Model after updating TVAI 5.2

I’ve noticed a strange behaviour where after doing a single preview my GPU preference reverts to AUTO rather than my GTX 1060.

While on AUTO the Rhea model consumes all my vram and causes an error (other models also consume more vram than normal). If I reselect the GTX 1060 then the preview is created normally, but then my GPU preference reverts to AUTO again.

I’ve put logs in your Dropbox.

Could you post a screenshot of the list of Enhancement models in your installation? Thanks

For users not seeing Rhea in the Enhancement menu:

  • Is this happening on macOS or Windows
  • If macOS, which version?

Thank you all

Windows 11

If it helps, I’m on windows 10. I have no issues seeing the Rhea model. First impressions are that it’s amazing. Edges may be a little soft, but it’s not too bad. It’s actually extremely fast too. A 30 fps video going from 480p to 4k is running at around 25 fps to process. Anyone else seeing really fast speeds?

Interesting notes, we definitely would love to have Rhea running at those speeds but it does seem fast compared to our internal testing.

If you can, I’d like to send your logs over to our research team:

I like the new model, but changing a crop still resets the project back to square one.

Has anyone else encountered issues trying to import videos from a network drive or file share? Up until this update I was able to import videos that were not on the local device (Unraid file server). Now I have to make a local copy of the file in order for it to import the video. Dragging the file from File Explorer into TVAI or clicking Browse videos and selecting the file doesn’t appear to do anything. Tried on two different PCs, same result. Did something change?

Definitely something we’d want to fix. Does importing from a mapped network drive work?
