Topaz video ai 4.0.7 UI unresponsive

After updating to 4.0.7 program runs but is very unresponsive. (Mac OS, Sonoma 14.2 M1 Macbook Pro)
Opening a video takes 20 sec.
Browsing a timeline (clikcing on timeline) brings no effect for a 1.5 min.

I investigated some more:
Apparetnly everything works well if windows is maximized
but UI is very slow (or maybe not updated) when window is not maximized

Same here! Totally unresponsive when not maximized - thank you for mentioning that workaround!

I even had a lot of problems getting the window maximized as it wouldn’t even respond to clicking the green sphere.

Cpu usage in activity monitor is nearly 100%.

same here. worked for a few days now i have to click numerous times around a button to get to respond. playback stalls and crashes.

Could I take a look at the app’s log files to see what is causing the error in Video AI?

To gather logs, please select Help > Logging and make sure that there is a check mark next to File Logging.

Thanks, I’ve sent the logs. It seems to be a problem with my Apple Bluetooth mouse. The inteface works ok with my macbook track pad. All other apps seem to function ok with the Magic Mouse.
