After closing Topaz, it hung, and after killing the task, my C:\temp folder was gone. That wasn’t even my project folder — just a casual folder where my source file was and where i had upscale exported to.

Did you by chance move your Documents user folder to another location? Because if you do so, Topaz:

1. Creates project folder at the default path c:\users\user name\Documents\Topaz labs\default
2. Creates 3 folders in the C: root - thumbnails, temp and previews.
3. Deletes c:\temp folder after closing TVAI, effectively deleting everything inside.

I’ve stumbled upon this behavior and thankfully there was no important files in the c:\temp folder.
