Be on the look out for more coming to Topaz Video soon! * * * Please see the latest build links below: - [Windows](https://downloads.topazlabs.com/deploy/TopazVideoStudio/1.0.3/TopazVideo-1.0.3.msi) - Mac - [DMG](https://downloads.topazlabs.com/deploy/TopazVideoStudio/1.0.3/TopazVideo-1.0.3.dmg) | [PKG](https://downloads.topazlabs.com/deploy/TopazVideoStudio/1.0.3/TopazVideo-1.0.3.pkg) * * * ### Fixes: - Resolved label issue for trial button. - Rotation if functioning properly. - Login getting stuck when there are no seats.1 - Raised minimum number of frames to 10. - During installation when a resource path is set, this is no longer getting reset. - Removed “crop to fill” for specific models that do not support it. - UI elements remains the same size, even when switching to bitrate mode. - Starlight Sharp will now fit within the download indicator. - Frame interpolation models no longer displays redundant model if there are no other iterations. - Topaz Video will no longer crash when cancelling an upload to the cloud - Repaired the issue with the occasional encoder mix-ups when switching back and forth between image sequence and video codec settings. - Always display the trimmer popup for starlight models. - Updated the grid/list selection preference to not be title case. - Removed the crop from being “off” on “letterbox” - Starlight resolution options have been addressed. Includes: minimum (original), 2x, 3x and 4x as long as outputs are between 720p and 4K. - Fixed a few source pane related bugs including “Close all sources” from failing. - Resolved frame number calculation error. - Refined the occasional issue of displaying source in the cloud “preview window” instead of the output within the cloud export page. - Fixed the issue of of copy/paste the interlaced/interlaced progressive model settings from not switching over properly. - There is now a warning tool tip for audio codec AC3 if an issue occurs. * * * Enjoy the patch updates! ---

Same here. It is interesting that if I enable “Show presets dialog in startup” in Preferences, I can still choose my old presets on import. But I can neither change it after that nor create new ones… ---

Hey everyone, I noticed that **Starlight Mini** is no longer available in **Topaz Studio** — it seems to have been replaced by **Starlight Sharp** , which now requires at least **16 GB of VRAM** to run properly. Was Mini completely removed, or is there still a way to use it locally? For those of us with **12 GB GPUs** , the new model simply won’t fit in memory, and Mini used to be a perfect lightweight option. Would love to know if there’s any workaround or plan to bring back a smaller version for mid-range cards. Thanks! ---

This is now the Starlight model in the app. The Mini naming part was dropped when the app was swapped to Topaz Video. Under the Starlight option you can choose either Starlight or Starlight Sharp for processing. ---

The “Your Presets” is gone with 1.0.3, had to revert to 1.0.2. ---

Did you do a fresh install by removing all files beforehand or did you update from within the app? I’m wondering if this affects people who do a clean install. ---

Looks like ‘My Presets’ is gone. You can still use the option, ‘Start from Preset’. I installed right away so I’m not sure if wiping everything and doing a clean install will work to get it back. ‘Built in Presets’ does nothing. Not sure what that’s suppose to do. ---

It still crashes when trying to close out the program (especially after using ‘Sharp’). ---

now when trying to export cloud-starlight, when i hit export, it brings me to the preview page where it asks me to trim it down to 5 seconds for a preview. i don’t see any way to just cloud-export, only preview. ---

Frame interpolation models are repeatedly downloaded even after the model manager has downloaded all of them. ---

I want to upgrade to video card with 16GB memory. CAN YOU ASSURE THAT THE NEW MODELS WILL WORK (FIT IN MEMORY) FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT SIX MONTHS? or more 🙂 ---
