Hello everyone!

Today we have a patch update for Topaz Photo with some important fixes.

**Note for Apple M6 users:**

- We are continuing to investigate and improve compatibility with Apple M6 machines running macOS 27.
- Our initial findings with v1.7.1 suggest that the app may appear frozen during the first image analysis, when it is actually taking significantly longer to initialize the AI models.
- Depending on the image size and models being used, **the initial load may take 15–30 minutes**. Once the models have loaded and their cache has been built, subsequent processing should return to normal speeds.
- **These initial loading times are not expected behavior, and our development team is actively working to improve them.** If you’re experiencing this issue, try allowing the initial analysis to complete and let us know whether processing improves afterward. If the issue persists, [share your app logs with our Support team](https://docs.topazlabs.com/topaz-photo/troubleshooting#how-to-reach-support-0cca). Your findings and logs will be forwarded to our development team as part of the ongoing M6 compatibility investigation.

Known Issues:

- Apple M6 machines may experience slow initial loading of AI models. Once the models are loaded and cached, subsequent processing should return to normal speeds.
