Just received the feedback from Topaz yesterday, below is the content feedback.
"You as a user have full license to sell or copyright your images and videos just as you would normally. Our AI software does not generate new works or content from scratch it only enhances what is already there in the image or video file that you put into the app. When we train our AI models we use a lot of images and videos that we have licensed or already own to train the models to know what is in an image and how to enhance it within the parameters of the task. This is different than any of the text based AI prompts like DALLE-2, Midjourney or Adobe Firefly that uses their datasets to create a new work of art based on examples it was trained on.
Our apps can be thought of like the original works of creative art made in Photoshop when it first came out in that the artwork created is that of the artist doing the work and not the software or the parent company. "
