I’m always getting into something…
Looks like an Henri Rousseau style painting.
Check out his trees,
At least it’s rightside up…
Yeah, for once i wasn’t going for artsy…
@plugsnpixels - can you send me the logs to support@topazlabs.com? You can send all the logs zipped from Help > Open Logs folder in app.
When I try to download the 3.3.3 it goes to 3.3.2 but, once installed, the app prompts me to update to 3.3.3 (W11)… Any clues why???
Otherwise, 3.3.2 is working on my system beautifully. Great job guys!
Here is the direct link to v3.3.3 for Win: Photo AI v3.3.3
It will be no different than v3.3.2 since it was a patch for Mac!
Still getting this “Invalid input: Unspecified: Too many auxiliary image references” when using the Apple Photos extension for an HEIC photo. M1 Max on Mac OS 15.1.1
Yes, the new encoding of Apple for the metadata that they introduced in iOS 18 is still not supported. Until then, you can convert the files to JPEG or TIFF. You can also refrain from shooting in HEIC unless you want to convert all the next files. You can also revert iOS. Any HEIC files shot prior to this iOS change will work.
Releases notes of the version will mention when these HEIC metadata encoding is supported, and I will reply here as well!
Thank you for the update! Hope it gets fixed soon
I just reproduced this on a Windows machine with 6GB of VRAM. I am starting to feel like I am doing your job for you? Have you tried the steps I provided yourself?
Last we spoke we are waiting on your logs and fresh system profile, sent to support@topazlabs.com - requested 2 days ago and no emails from you with them have been received.
Let me know when you can send this in. Let’s remain respectful too, we can help, but we need the info requested to continue the troubleshooting! Happy Thanksgiving
One of the downsides of the Windows world is that every person’s PC is different. Those differences can screw with the way software works. There are more permutations of hardware available than any medium business can afford to buy for testing. think > 1000’s.
So, we can either be part of the debugging loop, or the other option is to pay 10 or 100 times as much for software.
getting fresh logs and a fresh System profile will help us find out why Scott is getting issues and we can sort it out!
And then Microsoft will bring a new version of Windows out and add that to the equation.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I’ve posted a huge shoutout to Photo AI in my latest blog post with lots of examples you might not have seen here!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Before I take the time to gather and send logs I want to know if you actually tried to reproduce this. I feel like I am not being heard and the burden is on m to prove to you I have an issue. This is my hangup.
You could reproduce this yourself in 5 min. It would take you less time than replying to my message.
Full disclosure, I am a software developer by trade. After your first reply I knew something was wrong with your answer that it’s a VRAM issue. Still, my machine was slow and I did need a new one, so I bought a new machine. I installed PAI and had the exact same issue. Still you just want logs.
So I installed PAI on my daughter’s Windows 11 machine with 6GB of VRAM. Same issue. You still want logs.
Keep in mind that to give you logs I will have to reinstall v3.3.3 on each machine to reproduce the issue. I’m currently happy with v3.3.1. Don’t you have a QA team for this?
I feel like a lone soldier here. I have a day job and 1000s of photos to edit. PAI is looking less and less attractive to me over this one issue even though there are several others.
I’ve done a lot here already and spent hours identifying the issue on three machines and providing clear steps to reproduce the issue. I’ve installed v3.3.1 on each of them and the issue was not there. Then installed v3.3.3 and the issue is there on all three machines.
Why not hand my steps to reproduce the issue to your QA team? I just don’t have any more time to debug your software for you.
When I mentionned the VRAM issue, it was because yes, you were under requirements originally. A forum with hundreds or replies is not the place to post updates, and I had missed you updated your VRAM.
Lingyu mentions at the top that for any issues to send a email to help@topazlabs.com
I have not reproduced this no, as I need to have your logs to compare your results to mine. I will test when I have the logs and System Profile, to compare to! Let me know when email sent!
