Topaz Photo AI v3.3.2 is very slow after update from v3.3.0 (Windows)

After updating from v3.3.0 to v3.3.2, I can’t barely use it anymore because it is unbearably slow. It uses 100% of my GPU (NVidia GeForce GTX 1080), and it now takes about half an hour (not exaggerated!) to process a single image (1765x1177 Pixels) for denoise, sharpen and upscale to 3000x2000 pixels.
The older version took a few seconds for the preview and maybe half a minute at max for the final export.

System:
Windows 10
GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 1080 (GPU usage at 100%)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor (CPU usage at ~14%)
RAM: 64GB (usage around 40%)

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Load image
  2. Add denoise step
  3. Add sharpening step (subject only)
  4. Add Upscale step

Even the initial preview for denoising takes some Minutes. Export to Lightroom now already runs for over half an hour while I am typing this.

I want to see if updating your GPU driver will resolve the problem, as there is a more up-to-date driver that has been released.

Please use the following link to update your driver:

After the update, let me know if you are still experiencing the problem.

I have updated my GPU driver (and also upgraded to Topaz Photo AI v3.3.3).
Everything works as expected again!
Thank you!
