Topaz Photo AI v2.1.2 is installed on my PC (Win 11), but won’t open.
I have updated my well-functioning Topaz Photo AI to the new v2.1.2 on my PC (Win 11). The installation went smoothly, as with all Topaz products. The problem is that this time it won’t open with either hotkey or from ps plugin. Have reinstalled it several times with firewall and antivirus disabled. The PC has the necessary specifications (AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core prosessor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super, 8 GB, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 512 GB SSD). All other Topaz programs work well.
It is possible that the previous version is still on your system, this maybe interfering with the new install. I had this issue on Gigapixel. I had to find the previous version files and delete them all, after that a fresh install worked.
Although the install looked fine, it wold not work.
Same thing happens to me - I downloaded it and it will not open. Rebooted several times, no previous versions loaded on my system (unless you count Topaz Adjust AI). Pretty sure I have all the HW requirements. Very frustrating.
I have been using v2.1.2 with no problems for a week. Now, sudenly when I tried to opan another image, the icon spins but doesn’t open. Force quit shows not responding (iMac /Ventura) but it doesn’t quit. I have shutdown, reinstalled from the package, but no luck. The app in by list of applications, but can’t be dragged to the trash because Mac says it is still open. I really want to return to testing, what can i do? ps, not a computer expert.
