Every image I run through Topaz loses fine detail and does not look as clean or as sharp as the same Nikon raw image processed in Lightroom Classic DeNoise AI. I shoot a lot of birds and feather detail is just not there, and subjects look like a wax museum model. I bought Topaz Photo AI thinking it would be an improvement. So far I am not impressed.

It may be that the default strength is too high for these images, which you can decrease by opening the filter and decreasing the strength or going to the Preferences > Autopilot menu and decreasing the default strength for Remove Noise - Raw.
