Downloaded the current version of Photo AI (v2.0.4), when trying to open or edit in, I get a message: “Topaz Photo AI is Damaged and cannot be opened. Move it to Trash”. When I try to move it to trash it gives the message “Topaz Photo AI” could not be moved to Trash.”

To fix this issue please follow the instructions below:

  1. Install Topaz Photo AI and run it.
  2. When you see the error appear, ignore it and keep Topaz Photo AI.
  3. Go to your Mac System Settings > Privacy & Security tab and scroll down to the security section. Video here: Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software | Loom
  4. You will see a section that says Topaz Photo AI is damaged. Click the option to trust it.
  5. Run Topaz Photo AI and it should work this time.
