Topaz Photo AI Black Stripe Issue

I use Topaz Photo AI 2.2.0 as a plugin in Adobe Lightroom Photoshop Classic 13.1 for the files of a Fuji X-T5 (Windows Prof 23H2, Build 22631.2861). Topaz Photo AI creates a black stripe on the right-hand side when developing the unmodified RAW file in Lightroom without further development settings. How can this error be prevented?]

Chris

Try turning sharpen off. This has been widely reported.

I’ve found changing one of the settings in the modifiers that is activated through the AI resolves it. I updated this afternoon and was having the same issues, and I just reduced NR by one point, and it got rid of the black marking.

Thanks for your advice. The stripe issue only occurs with RAW files from the Fuji X-T5, but not with RAW files from the Fuji X-T3 or the Nikon D7100. None of the suggestions mentioned have helped with the X-T5 files so far.

Strange, others are having problems, not just on Fuji, think some are using Nikon.

I don’t use Topaz for RAW, I think there is better alternatives available.

Not sure if the issue is with sharpening or noise.

I have the same problem with 360 photos made with Insta360 ONE RS.

Thanks for reaching out. I can help with this.

The black bar displaying on your image is likely an issue with our Raw handling when opening the file.

To check this, please send me the file so I can reproduce and share the issue with my team.
