Topaz Photo AI 3.0.1 - image sizing issue

On a few of my TIFF images that I drag and drop to Topaz, the image is downsized quite a bit. The original size of the TIFF is 2464 x 1648, yet as you can see it shows up as 288 x 192. (see attached screenshot)

I then tried opening the TIFF in Topaz via “File - Open images…”, and it opened the smaller 288 x 192 file again.

However, if I open the same TIFF in PS and save it, then drag it to Topaz, it comes up full size 2464 x 1648.

Again, this doesn’t happen with all files. I don’t know if it is a particular Canon camera file or something else. This particular set is from an older Canon 1D, Mark II. On my more current 1DX bodies, this doesn’t happen.

If someone could help me with this, I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks.

BTW, this product rocks! It’s saved a lot of my older negs and slides.

I uploaded a TIFF file to your Dropbox. When I drag and drop into Topaz, I get one that is 288 x 192 instead of the full-size 2464 x 1648 (96 dpi).

The same thing happens when I open it via “File → Open Image…”

Both ways come up with the smaller file. Let me know if you need anything else.

Let’s try updating you to the most recent version release to see if this resolves the issue.

Please make sure you’ve also turned off any firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer. These are known to block the installation. Also, make sure there are no settings or configurations in your OS system that could interfere.
