When presented with a full length portrait (B&W) of a bearded man in the “Default Mode” I noticed that the program detected No Face. I had to manually move the focus box over the face. When I moved the focus box over the face, it “Recovered” the face.
I can’t get it to repeat this so I will attribute it to the poor quality of the portrait.
Sometimes (using the default mode) when I don’t get a dramatic improvement on a pic I will process the new Topaz Photo AI file and receive a great result.
I am very happy with this program and frequently recommend it to others.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the program! To touch on the Face Recovery hiccup, the AI models rely on existing image data so if the original lacks detail or is low resolution, the program will struggle as well.
