Topaz Labs Photo AI is So Slow I Can't Use it

I have a MAC Studio Ultra M2 with 128 GB RAM and 4TB HDD. Opening and performing anything including any individual selection takes in excess of 30 seconds each. I can’t use the application it is so slow. As a contrast Abobe Lightroom can process 800 50 MB images in 5 minutes.

Any suggestions are welcome
