Topaz is hijacking my Default Open selection for photos on my MacOs

I posted this once before… it’s STILL happening. Even on a brand new new install on a different Mac! I swear if Topaz wan’t such a good product, I would delete it!

In Finder, I change my default to open my Raw files Canon image files in Affinity photo. It works for about one or two openings, and then the default changes to Topaz!!! There must be a script or running program in the background that does this there is nothing else that would cause this.
These snapshots were taken in the order I have described. I open like I would expect after changing the default to Affinity Photo, After opening 2 images as expected, I re-look at the default ans Topaz is changed to be the default without any interaction from me.

Try using option-click or right-clicking on the image that is trying to open Topaz Photo AI, then go to Get Info, then look for Open with and select from the list the option your preferred option, and then you will want to select Change All…
