Topaz Denoise 6 closing out or giving error on .jpg image import

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134
Processor Intel(R) Core™ i9-9980XE CPU @ 3.00GHz, 3000 Mhz, 18 Core(s), 36 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 128 GB

I just purchased and downloaded Topaz Denoise. When importing a .jpg file, Topaz Labs Denoise 5, the software simply closes out. When using the plugin in Photoshop (Adobe Cloud CC 2019) it generates a message, “Contact Topaz Labs”
I have re-downloaded the software and reinstalled the program several time to no avail.
Same situation when running the plugin from Topaz Stusio.

Any thoughts or ideas from users - or perhaps some technical support from Topaz Labs??

Thank you for any help or support.

Correction - that should say Denoise 6.

No idea as it works fine for me on Windows 10.0.17763.379

Raise a Plugin support request at the header the says Need Help? on this page.

First you may want to try getting rid of the interprocess temp area, type “%localappdata%\temp” in the explorer searchbar and then delete any subdirectory that starts with “boost_interprocess_” make sure that you have exited all applications.

After deleting any folder starting with that name try again.

Hi Don,
Thank you very much for the quick reply. I will give it a try and let you know. Greatly appreciate your thoughts and insight!
